Email Invitations Dear Fran,
I was wondering about e-invitations... We have been
waiting to get married until we could afford it a bit better, but things remain tight. As a way to cut cost, I was thinking of making my invitations ( I am a graphic artist) and sending most of them via e-mail. I was going to print a handful for the people on my list who don't have e-mail or would like a printed invite to keep. In today's day and age, could this be acceptable or would it be tacky? I would appreciate any help you can give me... Deanne Dear Deanne:
Online
wedding websites are a wonderful idea. They can be informative and helpful to your guests. As for email invitations, it is very hard to replace a beautifully printed invitation. You can find printed invitations that won't cost a fortune and still be beautiful. Use your email to send other information regarding your wedding if needed. An email with a link to your wedding website would be nice for your guests to receive in addition to a printed invitation..
Sincerely,
Fran |
